Can’t forget dessert! This easy-to-make football cake will be a crowd pleaser. Made with a 9×13″ rectangular cake pan and a football cake pan or oval cake pan. If you don’t have either of those, use a 10″ round cake pan. Take the cake out of the pan. Cut a 2-inch strip from the middle of the cake and remove it. Put the remaining halves of the cake together to form a football. With a knife, you can bevel the top edges of the cake to give it dimension.

Dr. Samra recently received his Boards Certificate in the Subspecialty of Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Samra was one of only twenty-three diplomates in the country certified in Hand Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2015. To date, the board has only certified 723 plastic surgeons worldwide. Dr. Salem Samra is proud to now be one of them. He is double board certified, being now certified in both Plastic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand.

Marlboro Montessori Academy Halloween Presentation on the Facial Skeleton

Marlboro Montessori Academy Halloween Presentation on the Facial Skeleton

Dr. Salem Samra was invited to Marlboro Montessori Academy to give a presentation to the students about the facial skeleton just in time for Halloween! Dr. Samra described the anatomy of a skull and explained how our facial bones provide both structure and function. He explained how plastic surgeons help people with facial injuries or deformities. He then showed the children how to draw their very own skulls to turn into inexpensive Halloween masks!

The students enjoyed their time learning about the facial bones with Dr. Samra, almost as much as he did teaching them!
