Our physicians are able to enhance or refine areas of the face and neck for both women and men using surgical procedures and chemical treatments. Adjustments can also be made for congenital deformities (birth defects) and abnormalities resulting from accidents or disease.
Surgery of the Chin
Chin surgery can change the shape of the chin to reduce or enhance the chin to bring it into balance and proportion with the other facial features. The contour of the chin can be reshaped to be smoother, or more angular in appearance.

| Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty) Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is designed to remove excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. The procedure can correct drooping upper lids that tend to sag with time and the puffy bags below the eyes. The procedure usually takes about 1 hour and can be performed in the office using local anesthesia. Stitches can be removed after three or four days. Blepharoplasty can be done as a single procedure, or in conjunction with other facial surgery such as a facelift or a browlift. | Surgery of the Ear (Otoplasty) With one or more common techniques, the surgeon makes a small incision in the back of the ear to expose the ear cartilage. The surgeon will then sculpt the cartilage and bend it back toward the head. Non-removable stitches may be used to help maintain the new shape. Occasionally, the surgeon will remove a larger piece of cartilage to provide a more natural-looking fold when the surgery is complete. In most cases, ear surgery will leave a faint scar in the back of the ear that will fade with time. Dermabrasion
This procedure usually takes from a few minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how large an area of skin is involved. It's not uncommon for the procedure to be performed more than once, or in stages, especially when scarring is deep or a large area of skin is involved.
In dermabrasion, the surgeon scrapes away the outermost layer of skin with a rough wire brush, or a burr containing diamond particles, attached to a motorized handle. The scraping continues until the surgeon reaches the safest level that will make the scar or wrinkle less visible.

| Microdermabrasion The MegaPeel Microdermabrasion system works by pumping tiny crystals through a glass hand-piece onto the skin's surface. The fine crystal mist gently refines the epidermal layer leaving the skin smooth and more youthful. This procedure has been used in the medical industry with great success. Micro-dermabrasion has been introduced to allow the beauty therapist to bridge the gap between Beauty Salon and the dermatologist clinic. In just one treatment the MegaPeel visibly refines and polishes the surface of the skin. And what's more, the technique stimulates the micro-circulation to promote a healthy new layer of skin |

CO2 Laser Resurfacing
Also known as a laser peel, laser skin resurfacing usually takes less than 1½ hours depending on the size of the area that is being treated. The procedure uses a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser beam which vaporizes the upper layers of damaged skin at controlled levels of penetration. The procedure removes areas of damaged or wrinkled skin often caused by prolonged sun exposure. Laser resurfacing can minimize the appearance of fine lines around the mouth and the eyes and is also effective in treating facial scars and skin areas with uneven pigmentation.
