Surgery of the Chin
Chin surgery can change the shape of the chin to reduce or enhance the chin to bring it into balance and proportion with the other facial features. The contour of the chin can be reshaped to be smoother, or more angular in appearance.
Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is designed to remove excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids. The procedure can correct drooping upper lids that tend to sag with time and the puffy bags below the eyes. The procedure usually takes about 1 hour and can be performed in the office using local anesthesia. Stitches can be removed after three or four days. Blepharoplasty can be done as a single procedure, or in conjunction with other facial surgery such as a facelift or a browlift. For additional information on eyelid surgery visit:
Asian Eyelid Surgery
In Asian blepharo plasty a more definite upper lid crease or fold is created. This results in a more bright eyed appearance that makes eye makeup application easier.
As a person ages, the long-term effects of gravity, exposure to sun, dry air, and general stress takes its toll on an individual’s face and neckline. Jowls can develop under the jawline with folds and fat deposits. Usually creases begin to form between the nose and the mouth. A facelift can considerably reduce these signs of aging by removing excess fat, tightening the underlying muscles, and redraping the skin around the neck and face. Facelifts can be done alone, or frequently performed in conjunction with another procedure such as a browlift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping. If your problem areas are limited to the neck, a more conservative procedure,
known as a “necklift” will be recommended. In some cases, a facelift can
reduce the outward signs of aging by ten or fifteen years.

A forehead lift or “browlift” is used to correct a drooping browline (eyebrow area) reducing the horizontal lines and furrows (worry lines) that often make a person appear tired, angry or sad. This procedure creates a refreshed, youthful appearance to the forehead area above the eyes. When performing a forehead lift procedure, muscles and tissue areas that droop or cause creases are removed or corrected to smooth the skin on the forehead to reduce frown lines and raise the eyebrows. There are two surgical methods, and during your initial consultation the procedure that works best for you will be recommended. The first is the most conventional method where a surgical incision is hidden just above the hairline. Browlifts are also performed using an endoscope which enables the procedure to be performed with a minimal number of incisions. While the traditional method can sometimes attain more lift, both methods create smoother, flatter skin on the forehead.

Full and voluptuous lips have always been recognized as an aesthetically important and desirable feature. Some of us however, are born with thin, ill-defined lips. But the appearance of our lips is now within our control. During this procedure, a piece of tissue is borrowed from somewhere in your body and grafted into one or both lips.We can also use Alloderm® or Gortex® which are tissue implants to plump up and fill in lips and nasolabial folds.
Surgery of the Nose
The surgical procedure to reshape the nose, (rhinoplasty) is among the most popular and most common plastic surgical procedures. This procedure can reduce or increase the size of the nose, remove an unwanted hump, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the width of the nostrils, or change the angle between the nose and the upper lip. The procedure is also used to correct problems resulting from injury and can help relieve certain breathing difficulties.

Surgery of the Ear (Otoplasty)
With one or more common techniques, the surgeon makes a small incision in the back of the ear to expose the ear cartilage. The surgeon will then sculpt the cartilage and bend it back toward the head. Non-removable stitches may be used to help maintain the new shape. Occasionally, the surgeon will remove a larger piece of cartilage to provide a more natural-looking fold when the surgery is complete. In most cases, ear surgery will leave a faint scar in the back of the ear that will fade with time.

Botox® Cosmetic has been FDA approved for cosmetic purposes. Botox is a protein that when injected will weaken the muscles that cause wrinkling of the skin It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to reduce “worry lines”, “crow’s feet” and “frown lines”. The procedure is quick and usually done in an examination room.
This procedure usually takes from a few minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how large an area of skin is involved. It’s not uncommon for the procedure to be performed more than once, or in stages, especially when scarring is deep or a large area of skin is involved.
In dermabrasion, the surgeon scrapes away the outermost layer of skin with a rough wire brush, or a burr containing diamond particles, attached to a motorized handle. The scraping continues until the surgeon reaches the safest level that will make the scar or wrinkle less visible.

The MegaPeel Microdermabrasion system works by pumping tiny crystals through a glass hand-piece onto the skin’s surface. The fine crystal mist gently refines the epidermal layer leaving the skin smooth and more youthful. This procedure has been used in the medical industry with great success. Micro-dermabrasion has been introduced to allow the beauty therapist to bridge the gap between Beauty Salon and the dermatologist clinic. In just one treatment the MegaPeel visibly refines and polishes the surface of the skin. And what’s more, the technique stimulates the micro-circulation to promote a healthy new layer of skin
CO2 Laser Resurfacing
Also known as a laser peel, laser skin resurfacing usually takes less than 1½ hours depending on the size of the area that is being treated. The procedure uses a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser beam which vaporizes the upper layers of damaged skin at controlled levels of penetration. The procedure removes areas of damaged or wrinkled skin often caused by prolonged sun exposure. Laser resurfacing can minimize the appearance of fine lines around the mouth and the eyes and is also effective in treating facial scars and skin areas with uneven pigmentation.
