Case #6453 – This is a 40-year-old patient who came into the office to discuss her options for a prophylactic breast reconstruction after testing positive for the BRCA gene. After discussing things over with one of our five board-certified plastic surgeons, she proceeded with an autologous-based breast reconstruction, also known as a DIEP flap.
