You couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable, kind, and caring plastic surgeon. Dr. A. Samra oversaw the care of my mom’s wound this summer. She was bit by a dog at work and had a large chunk of her forearm removed from the bite. Dr. Samra saw her two days after the initial bite and it was previously cleaned by the emergency room.
He has the BEST bed side manner I’ve ever encountered with a doctor. He is soft spoken, thorough, and listened to every question we had, which were a lot.

He presented us with numerous options and never pressured us into anything or tried to rush her wound care along, despite this being a workman’s comp case. I know those can take a while to get paid out to the doctor but he treated her like any other patient.
After 7 visits over an 8 week timespan, which was over seen by Ashley Delucia the PA, my mom’s wound looks fantastic. Her scar is large but that was to be expected. In fact, we believe had we not come in for treatment from Dr. Samra and Ashley, her wound most likely would have gotten infected, and her scar would be larger and thicker.
