I had my surgery on a Thursday. I was in no pain. I didn’t take not one pain killer and I was back to work on Friday. The choice of silicone was to perfection. My new implants look beautiful and most importantly look natural and feel amazing

I recently had a procedure done with Dr. Salem Samra. Words can’t express how grateful I am for him. He is very caring and always makes sure you are comfortable with what he is doing. Dr. Fares Samra is amazing! I recently had DIEP Flap Surgery. I am so incredibly happy with my results! We are so grateful to Dr. Fares Samra and team! Despite the circumstances we had the absolute best experience. Dr. Fares Samra took care of my 2 year old son’s lip after a fall and stitched him up so well no one can even see the spot anymore after only a month. But not only was his work incredible, the office is so kind, the people were so friendly and warm they made me feel so comfortable (as the hysterical mom I was when this happened!) Dr. fares also personally called me back when I had a question after a few days and was so reassuring. There will never be another surgeon we go to should we ever need one. If there were 6 stars to give I would give it. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April of this year and part of my surgical treatment included reconstruction/ reduction surgery. My oncology breast surgeon referred me to Dr. Asaad Samra for that portion of the surgery. From the very first appointment Dr. Samru and his staff treated me with compassion and gave me a sense that everything would be okay. I had my surgery on June 13 and I’m happy to say everything went well , I had a pretty easy recovery with no complications. I am now 3 months post op and feeling great and very grateful that I was referred to the right surgeon for this part of my treatment. Thank you to Dr Sama and his staff.

Dr. Samra took amazing care of me in having moles removed from my face. He did excellent work and my experience with Dr. Samra was amazing from his office and office staff to the care I received after the procedure. The results are second to none. The care Dr. Samra took to stitch with the natural curve of my face made it look like I never even had the moles to begin with. Their Jeunesse Medical Spa is also beautiful! I had a facial vein lazered off. The Spa is a beautiful and relaxed environment and immaculately clean. Everyone is so kind and professional.

I had Basal Cell Carcinoma on the wing of my nose that needed Mohs surgery and a flap that was not to my liking. I decided I needed plastic surgery to make me want to look into a mirror again. I was recommended to the Samra group and when I called for an appointment and explained my problem, I got this amazing person who was so caring and understanding that I knew I was in good hands. Her name was Samantha and the assistant to the doctor that was going to help me. Meeting Dr. Samra was a wonderful experience I felt very comfortable with him, he was caring and understanding and explained what he was going to do that would make me happy again and I am. Breast reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy due to breast cancer is never a pleasant experience mentally or physically. True statement for most but not so for me. Dr. Asaad Samra aka “Samra the Great” (dubbed so by myself????), is one of the most skillful, thoughtful, knowledgeable and caring plastic surgeons there is. His bedside manner is beyond impeccable. The care he takes in making sure that the decisions that are made are in your best interests is unbelievable. He encourages your input, considers your personal lifestyle and plans accordingly. I’ve done two procedures with him thus far. The first being the reconstruction immediately after bilateral mastectomy and the second was the final placement of the breast implants. For the first procedure, I had minimal pain and a very fast recovery. For the second procedure which was performed a few days ago, I have yet to take any pain meds and am very happy with the outcome. He and his staff have made this difficult journey literally and figuratively “pain-free” in my opinion and I am very grateful. This has been my experience with Dr. Asaad Samra. Who could ask for anything more?!!
Dr. Said Samra is a very talented, caring and kind Doctor. He has an excellent eye for catching potentially bad moles. I have had many removed. His expertise in this field is amazing. He has a wonder eye in spotting issue. He never removes anything unnecessarily. I actually paid him myself because he wasn’t in my daughters insurance. That is how much I trust and value his experience.

I had my first follow-up post-surgery appointment at Samra Plastic Surgery and everything is looking great! I am a 2-time breast cancer survivor. This was my 5th breast surgery and with these amazing results, it will be the last. This was my first surgery with Dr. Fares Samra and his job was to “bat clean-up”, so to speak and he hit it out of the park!

The work that Dr. Samra performed was way BEYOND expectations. I didn’t know that I would have the range of motion of my right arm back, as well. Prior to this surgery, I was unable to do overhead activities with my right or reach across to my opposite armpit. The look and feel of my breasts are a major improvement. I had multiple complications he had to take on.
The patience that Dr. Fares Samra had with me is beyond. I changed my decision multiple times about this procedure and he took the time to talk me through each of them.

I am the mother to three fun-loving boys and married to a wonderful husband. My youngest son is 2 1/2 years old. As you can match and my body has taken a hit due to childbirth by c-section. Both my stomach and breast have been left saggy my breast lost volume due to breast-feeding.

I had the Ultherapy treatment done by one of the Top Plastic Surgeons in New Jersey. Dr. Asaad Samra. Dr. Samra was and is a great surgeon. I could have never felt so comfortable as I felt during treatment with another surgeon for sure. Dr. Samra is very caring and for the most part, makes you feel like your one of his friends while doing the treatment. I had the Ultherapy done about a month ago, with Dr. Samra and I have seen minor results, however, can honestly say that it was worth it. Dr. A Samra is most definitely a surgeon I would go back to for further treatment and surgeries. He is a doctor, that takes his time, and makes sure that he answers all of your questions. With no doubt. Dr. A Samra is the surgeon for Ultherapy!
I had ligament reconstruction on my R thumb. I am beyond pleased and I highly recommend Dr. M. Patel. I was well educated and placed at ease before, during and after my procedure. I have 100% satisfaction of the reuse of my thumb and hand with minimal scarring. Very happy and will be looking up Dr. Patel for upcoming elective surgeries.
Wow! All I can say is Wow! The Dr. Was So Kind. And Gentle. What a Lovely man! I never felt anything. Talked to me the whole time. And made me feel so calm. His staff is wonderful. Just like the Dr. It was a wonderful experience. And you can hardly see the scar. I would give him 10 stars if I could. It was for a MOHS skin cancer. I told him, that I would be back!

We needed immediate care to repair our child’s lip. The office staff and Dr. Patel were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to get us in right away. Dr. Patel has a wonderful bedside manner and the repair is flawless. We were impressed by Dr. Patel and the whole team – highly recommend!

I have been dealing with the Samra Group for a couple months now and I am extremely happy with the work that has been done. Dr. Assad Samra was the doctor that performed my surgery and he did an amazing job. Dr. Assad Samra and his father both performed the surgery together and everything went perfectly. He explains everything perfectly, he does not make you feel as if your appointment will be rushed EVER, he makes you feel very comfortable, and he makes sure he is completely happy with how everything comes out. I needed an emergency appointment and he saw me that day. Also, he wanted to see me the day after my surgery and he came into work early for only my appointment. This group is high recommended to anyone that needs any plastic surgery work.
Dr. Patel has great bedside manor and has done an incredible job with removing an abnormal mole from my back. When my dermatologist turned me away for the procedure, Dr. Patel took my case. Minimal scarring after just one month and complete confidence in the work he has done and will continue to do. I definitely reccomend him for this type of procedure.
After being fit my entire life, I hit menopause and gained weight even though I was still working out and eating right. I had stubborn belly fat that would not go away. I tried everything, Zerona, Velashape, Tripolar and even though they did give me some results, the fat would come back. Then I read about Vanquish that gets rid of the fat cells permanently! I went to Doctor Assad Samra and he told me I was a perfect candidate for Vanquish. After being turned down by doctors for tummy tucks because I didn’t have enough I was thrilled to hear this! The procedure takes a half an hour per section, sections being lower abs, upper and then upper back and lower back. you do the section that you feel you need to do. I did all four and was so happy with the results. My back fat is gone, something I didn’t even realize was bad until I saw my before and after photos that he took. My lower tummy is stubborn so I am still going for treatments with improvements still being seen. I fit back into my jeans that I refused to toss, its been two years! Michele that is in the room with me while receiving the non-invasive totally painless procedure is very informative and will answer any more questions you may have about it, and very pleasant to work with! I have to say I am hooked on Vanquish and the Samra Group, and am patiently waiting for the thigh paddles to come so I can do my thighs! I don’t know why anyone would do coolsculpt, I have family members that did it prior to Vanquish coming out and they said it was painful and they were swollen and bruised after the procedure. With Vanquish there is no down time, no swelling no bruising, at least not for me! Vanquish is the best!

The services range from Eyelash & Eyebrow tinting and lifting with Anna to Salt facials…Microdermabrasion As for fillers! I use Dr. Asaad and he is wonderful! In February 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After deciding on a double mastectomy, I was referred to Dr. Fares Samra. Wow from the first visit he made me feel comfortable and explained all my options in a way I could understand. The day of my surgery he made sure I was comfortable and asked if I had any questions. I hit a bumpy road but he made sure to return every call and gave me the best care any doctor has ever given me! I’m happy to have him as my surgeon because he accepted the worst moment in my life and made it better! I also want to acknowledge his staff for always being friendly and courteous!

Dr. Fares Samra has got to be the best in the business, hands down!!! I was diagnosed with cancer at 47 years old, March of 2020. The best outcome was for me to have a mastectomy of my left breast at which in my mind was possibly the end of the world, up until I met Dr. Fares Samra. Dr. Samra took his time with me and explained in great detail all my options post-mastectomy. July 6, 2020, I underwent a diep flap reconstruction with him and his wonderful team with awesome results. He is not only probably the best at diep flaps, but he is compassionate, caring, knowledgeable, and available to me when I need to ask questions. I thank him for being the best and helping bring me back to my normal!

My 9-year-old daughter hit the sensitive area between her eyelids and her eyebrow with her knee while playing on a trampoline. It was a really deep gash. Dr. Samra was not in the office on that Saturday but graciously agreed to meet us there to see her. My daughter, having gotten stitches before, was really afraid. Thankfully, Dr. Salem has a magical way of dealing with children! He is so kind and comforting and extremely talented. Although she walked into the office afraid, she left the office skipping her way to the car as if she was leaving a carnival! Every time I look at my daughter’s face, I am so thankful I took her to Dr. Samra. You can barely see a scar.
Just a few months prior to this he had seen my son and did a phenomenal job stitching a big gash in his lower lip! Dr. Samra is simply amazing and I am forever thankful to him!

It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Samra Plastic Surgery. Dr. Munjal Patel closed up an incision for Mohs surgery (performed by my Dermatologist) for a spot of skin cancer on my chin. In only a few days after the stitches were removed, one could not even see where the incision was. Dr. Patel completed the surgery with such skill and expertise. Dr. Patel portrays a confidence that put me completely at ease and took the time to explain how the procedure would go. I went to the office the day after I was unfortunately bitten in the face by a dog. I was told I needed several stitches at the emergency room. Although they were helpful, I knew from experience that the sutures they would apply would leave ugly scarring on my face. I inquired about a plastic surgeon and they referred me to Dr. A. Samra.
Upon arrival, the staff was extremely professional and compassionate about treating me. Dr. Samra was thorough in explaining what his procedure would be. The wounds on my face were jagged so I figured anything he could do would be better than emergency room sutures.
Dr. Samra began to work and upon completion, I was elated. He managed to close the wounds and blend them in and around my nostrils.
Dr. Samra and his staff are true professionals and I am very grateful.
My procedure was complicated. Because there is very little tissue on the helix of the ear, it was necessary to attach the ear to my scalp to allow blood flow to the wound. The ear then had to be dis-attached. After two procedures under general anesthesia, my ear looks as good as new. Dr. Salem Samra selected and executed a delicate procedure flawlessly. He is highly skilled, easy to communicate with, and clearly cares about his patients. His office administrator Samantha T is similarly very effective in communicating with patients and exercising her superb people skills to ensure a positive experience. Five stars all around.
Dr. Samra was the only medical professional to believe me that my hand cyst was something more serious than just a fatty cyst… He did 2 biopsies (after the first came back inconclusive) to get a correct diagnosis of Monophasic synovial sarcoma in my right palm… I owe this Dr. my life and my daughter thanks him for giving her dad back. I am now cancer free and it’s all thanks to this man

I broke my nose due to a work-related injury and shortly after arriving at Bayshore Hospital, Dr. Samra was there to realign my nose. Although this was a noninvasive surgery, it was my first time going under anesthesia and I was very nervous, but Dr. Samra ensured any questions I had were answered and made me feel extremely comfortable. He followed up with me after the procedure and genuinely cared about how I was healing. I had visited both offices in Old Bridge and Holmdel and all the staff there were very friendly and professional. This was a pleasant experience, I highly recommend this doctor.

For anyone considering Ultherapy or looking for a good doctor please read. I am going to be 37 years old, and consider myself to have a youthful appearance that I would like to maintain for as long as possible.
Five months ago Dr. Asaad Samra at the Samra Group performed Ulthera on my face and neck. His staff and he were incredible. Dr. Asaad walked me through the procedure and explained it in depth how the treatment works and what to expect. The treatment took about an hour. At times I found it a bit uncomfortable but very tolerable. After the treatment my face was slightly red. The redness went away and my face was tender to the touch for about 2-3 months. My face became so contoured that people actually noticed.
Ultherapy exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t have picked a better doctor.
Extremely satisfied with the results. I had a Mohs procedure on my right nostril that required a skin graft to close the wound. To say I was apprehensive was an understatement. Dr. Salem Samra addressed all my concerns during our initial consultation and adeptly performed the skin grafting on the day of the surgery. I experienced minimal discomfort at both the host and graft sites and they have healed wonderfully.
I had a great experience for my procedure. I had A LOT of questions for this procedure. Dr. Samra explained all the details, answered all my questions, and helped me set up realistic goals. I am very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. ‘
The procedure itself went very smooth. As a medical doctor, I am extremely pleased with the whole process. The procedure was done in the hospital, and the nurses are very nice. I felt taken great care of.
Dr. Samra did a wonderful job. For my case, Dr. Samra ‘s non-suture finish let the most of the drainage come out within the first day or so, which made it possible for me to go back to work early. The amount of local in the solution helped greatly with the postoperative pain, again beneficial for my going back to work. I am also happy with the result. I did not have to huge loads of fat to remove, but with the amount taken out, I can see the contour gets a lot of improvement. With the initial swelling almost gone, the shape is much better.
All in all, I am very happy with Dr. Samra and his facility, and I would recommend him for anyone who is considering plastic surgery.
From the moment I met Sam and Dr. Samra, I knew I had made the right decision. They made me comfortable, explained in layman’s terms what I could expect and what the results would be. They put me at ease. I am so pleased with the results and cannot tell you how many compliments I have received.
I had wanted to have a tummy tuck for 3 years. I had 2 previous c-sections that left me with a “mommy pouch” and stretch marks. Despite diet and exercise, I could never get my stomach back to my pre-baby condition. I am thrilled with the results of the surgery. My scar is placed in the same place that my c-section scars were and is well hidden by underwear or a bathing suit. My new belly button looks completely normal and the scar from the stitches is hidden inside. My recovery was much easier than I expected and without complications.

I went to see Dr. Salem Samra after I had an injury to my hand. Making the appointment, the office staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. When I went in for my appointment, everyone in the office was friendly and professional. The wait for the doctor to see me was not long at all, contrary to other doctors’ offices. Dr. Samra was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and made me very comfortable. I have heard from others that he is great, which is why I came from a long distance away to see him, and I am so happy that I did. While I was there, I found out that he specializes in a number of different areas and will be looking to continue traveling to see him. It is hard to find a doctor that takes their time with you, but Dr. Samra really took his time and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my hand. Dr. Fares Samra closed a Mohs surgery on my nose. He did an outstanding job. You can barely see a scar and it’s only been four weeks. I consulted before the Mohs surgery and he went over what might have to be done in a way that made me understand all the options. The day of the Mohs surgery, he gave a lot of thought as to the best way to close and spend some time deciding. The results are outstanding. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Samra is a phenomenal doctor. He took his time and answered all my questions. I’ve gone to him a few times now and couldn’t be happier with my results. His assistant Jennifer is also great! Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. “A”. I had to have Mohs surgery on three spots on my nose at my dermatologist. Given the severity of the wounds, I went to Dr. A to repair them since they were literally gaping holes. During our consultation, I appreciated that Dr. A gave me the best and worst-case scenarios for what type of repair surgery may be needed. After he saw the wounds, he gave his suggestion of what he felt the best repair solution was, which was skin grafting but not before making sure I was comfortable with it and that all my questions were answered. He is extremely attentive, knowledgeable, talented, and honest. I am now 2 months out from my repair surgery and the results are incredible and better than I could have expected. To go from having huge gaping holes in your nose with exposed cartilage from skin cancer to minimal scarring is something only Dr. A can do!! Amazing.
I recently had Dr Salem Samra reconstruct my nose due to skin cancer. I have to admit , I was extremely nervous when I heard I was going to need general anesthesia. In Jan 2019 I was in a car accident as a pedestrian. Dr. Assad Samra was the on-call doctor in the emergency room. He was professional, gentle and kind and assessed my foot/leg immediately. I went on to see him weekly for 3 months. Each visit he was very informative as to how I was healing, what the next steps would be and what I should be doing to continue healing quickly and properly. He recommended a debridement surgery which we did. My recovery went well and the wound healed very well. Dr. Samra took great care of me for 3 months! Dr. Salem Samra was a life savior! After a careless accident where I missed a step holding a glass of water. The glass shattered in my hand and was immediately rushed to the hospital . Dr. Salem Samra was on call that night and I am very grateful, that is was him. After having 2 nerves, a severed artery and many tendons torn. Dr Samra performed a 4 hour surgery repairing nerves, tendons and an artery, Dr. Samra was a miracle worker and I am happy to say I am back to living a normal life just like I was before the surgery. I have been dealing with the Samra Group for a couple months now and I am extremely happy with the work that has been done. My time with Dr. Asaad Samra began in 2015 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed a plastic surgeon for reconstruction. I had heard of the Samra Group through a friend and thought that they were dermatologists due to what my friend used them for. To my surprise, Dr. Samra was a plastic surgeon and one that is compassionate and genuine. Every visit before and after surgery I felt like I was the only patient he had. He answered my many questions and made me feel comfortable. Fast forward to June of 2019 when I broke my pinky finger on my dominant hand and was told I needed a hand surgeon. I remembered that Dr. Samra’s brother was a hand surgeon and when I called the office and explained my need for a hand surgeon, I was told that I could see Dr. Asaad for this as well. It has been quite a ride for my finger to get to the point that I could have the surgery, but I had my tenolysis surgery in February and am so very happy with the results. The compassion and caring of not only the doctor, but of his staff is something you don’t often find. I’m 23 and currently exactly 2 weeks out of my breast augmentation and I feel great thanks to Dr. Fares Samra! Choosing him was the best decision ever (and this is coming from an out of state patient!). The entire process was pretty quick. I didn’t take much of the pain medication prescribed and after 2/3 days or so I was only taking Tylenol. I’m not sure if it has to do with the approach taken, but “inframammary” was the approach taken on me and my implant (350 moderate profile+ silicone Sientra) was placed under my muscle. I went from an A/B to a full C small D cup and I’m extremely pleased with them because it was a big jump in cup size, however it looks very natural! I had an amazing experience thanks to him and his staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and very tentative. Dr. Samra was extremely patient and took the time to educate me on everything regarding my anatomy, all/any risks that may be associated with a breast augmentation, and implant sizing. The surgery center is by far the best I’ve ever encountered, they really know how to ease your nerves and make you feel comfortable. Now if you’re worried about pain, I know everyone’s different, but let me just say that the very same day I was eating Sushi with my friends!!

If there were 6 stars to give I would give it. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April of this year and part of my surgical treatment included reconstruction/ reduction surgery. My oncology breast surgeon referred me to Dr. Asaad Samra for that portion of the surgery. From the very first appointment Dr. Samra and his staff treated me with compassion and gave me a sense that everything would be okay. I had my surgery on June 13 and I’m happy to say everything went well , I had a pretty easy recovery with no complications. I am now 3 months post op and feeling great and very grateful that I was referred to the right surgeon for this part of my treatment. Thank you to Dr. Sama and his staff.

Dr. Asaad Samra is a hidden gem in the Medical field, he is a Dr. A Surgeon and Artist! Most importantly a magnificent human being to top it all off. He has a keen sense for knowing exactly what to do for each patient he cares for. His knack for diverse knowledge and caring demeanor set him apart from others that practice. I first met Dr. Salem Samra on July 25th, 2017 while at the Wound Care Center at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ. I had a very bad experience with my previous doctor and felt that I did not receive the proper patient care. I got the call from my 2 year old’s preschool saying she’s been hurt and she may need stitches, please come right away. When I got to her, there was a deep gash above her eye extending down into her eyebrow and she was dazed. The school director suggested I go over to local urgent care but I was honestly terrified to let someone touch my 2 year old’s face, let alone someone I didn’t know. I packed her up and flew an hour down 287 to the ONLY practice I would ever trust with this sort of thing- Samra Plastic Surgery. Not only did they fit me in for an emergency appointment with one of their finest, Dr. Fares but the team stayed late to take care of our baby. Dr. Fares was nothing short of amazing with Savannah, even playing Disney music to help her relax. The work on her face was even more impressive. Her scar is healing beautifully and she asks about Dr Fawis often.

I been a fan of Doctor Assad Saamra for couple of years now. I remember the first time l went to see Him it was before my 40th Birthday, l had broken the first eyes corners lines and It was the pushing time l needed on trying to get away of those parentese lines around my mouth that had appeared uninvited too!
So l searched as much as l could for reviews in doctors around me and l came across the Saamra Family. I called and asked for an appointment with Doctor A. when l went in and asked for his honest opinion in what he could do (without any surgery), to magically give me a few years back from the mirror. He was, hands on , the best in the business and did an excelIent job. Right there, l started my ‘cosmetic affair with Doctor A.’ From there on l had my first relationship with Ultherapy. I even brought my mother over when she came to visit me from overseas. My husband had a severe injury to his thumb.on January 16, 2020. We went through three doctors who did not know How to handle this type of injury which was very frustrating. Then we met Dr. Salem Samra. Who took total control of the situation handled. He handled my husband with compassion and care. And was very informative in what he was going to do for him. He sat down with both of us and explained every detail in It’s entirely. To make a long story short as time went by Dr. Samra in his professional wisdom decided because of the healing process that has been going on for these past weeks, he did not have to operate and proceed with the skin graft surgery as he originally planned. I had some elective surgery done at Samra Plastic Surgery by Dr. Fares Samra. He fixed my old c-section scar which had been horribly done when I had my son. He also did my breast reduction with a lift. Having gone to this office was a pleasure. All of the team members were so helpful, professional and so willing to help me with anything I needed. This included the surgical coordinator, Danielle, the medical assistant, Sam, who helped me get all the prep work done and made sure I had everything done ahead of time so the surgery went smoothly. But most of all, I truly enjoyed being in the hands of Dr. Fares Samra. He did such a great job removing my old scars and fixing my abdomen to make it so smooth and flat. My breasts no longer sag and are now a “normal” size which I am so much happier with. I have never felt so comfortable with a doctor as I did with Dr. Fares. From the moment I met Salem Samra MD he was so caring and gentle. I had suffered a traumatic injury to my finger. I had an open crushing fracture with the possibility of amputation to that finger. Dr. Said and his staff are the kindest, most caring group of people I have met. I have been going to him for two years to have my moles checked and removed. His eye for catching potential bad growths are amazing. He doesn’t unnecessarily remove anything. I trust him so much my two daughters also go to him. Actually Sr. Samra doesn’t participate in my older daughter’s insurance so I pay him myself that is how much I trust him and how good he is. He truly cares about his patients and how they feel. He never rushes you or makes you feel like he is better than you. His staff is also great. I’m getting emotional just thinking about how to express how I feel. I am BRCAI positive and I was opting for prophylactic double mastectomy with reconstruction. My breast surgeon highty recommended Dr. Fares Samra. I wasn’t going to use the Samra group tho once I found out they weren’t in network but Fares convinced me to hear him out. That day changed my life. He sat with me for 2 hours answering all my questions and concerns. I knew that day I had found the surgeon that was for me. Fares had recommend the DIEP Flap surgery which basically makes breasts out of my belly fat and arteries. I was sold. Then life happens and my husband got sick. I wanted to take the easy way out and just go to implants but Fares talked to me and told me to just wait it out and get the reconstruction that I truly wanted, and so I did. Fares and his staff had become like a second family. They helped me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry. That conversation was filled with emotions and tough love, and I will be forever grateful. I do not even know where to begin! Dr. Assad Samra is by far the best in the business. Plastic surgery isn’t just about improving things that you feel may be flawed, it is much more than that. A great plastic surgeon can replace and reconstruct what you may have lost and essentially give you your life back by making you feel normal and restoring your confidence.
I am a late stage ovarian cancer survivor who then went through a double mastectomy. I had so many surgeries in a three year period and my breast reconstruction, for lack of a better word, was “botched”. I felt so defeated, was in pain every day and my breasts were so different and mobile that I felt there was a carnival on my chest. I lived like that for another three years.
I had an issue develop and I was recommended to Dr. Samra. I was immediately put at ease by the care and compassion given, not only by Dr. Samra, but his entire staff. I had made the decision to have the corrective surgery and it was the best decision I could have ever made! I had surgery in February 2021 and have been pain free ever since! My breasts match, they are placed correctly and I don’t have to stuff one of the cups of my bra anymore so I don’t look odd.
Dr. Samra not only is an amazing surgeon but he truly cares and helps you through your entire healing process. He told me about a website to visit to purchase comfortable bras for mastectomy patients and gave me a promo code to use! He also introduced me to a nurse who did nipple tattooing. Something I never thought about before because I had been so deformed.

I exercise daily and lift weights and felt my results fell short. After thinking long and hard about getting a mommy makeover I finally decided to make that choice.
The day after the procedure I went back to the doctor for a postop visit. I was in slight pain. I felt somewhat sore like I exercised too much but not nothing excruciating. I felt like I recovered rather quickly I was up and about moving around within 5 days. After two weeks I truly felt almost 100%.
In four weeks I was already hitting the gym.

Dr. Fares Samra is a very pleasant doctor. He was very explicit about what to expect after he did the closure on my back surgery. I tripped and took the brunt of my fall on the left side of my forehead. I was taken to Riverview Hospital. I was given a CT scan and it was negative. I had a very bad gash on my forehead and the ER doctor agreed that I needed to see a plastic surgeon. I was familiar with the Samra’s in Holmdel. I was taken right away and Dr. Salem Samra proceeded to repair first the muscles that were torn and then the wound itself. He was patient and slow with the procedure. He explained everything he was doing to help close the wound. I am amazed that after almost 4 weeks, there is barely a scar that is noticeable. I have had 2 follow up visits with him. His staff is professional, kind and unhurried. I am so grateful for his expertise in plastic surgery and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Having had a prior reconstruction (post mastectomy) disfigurement which I lived with for years I thought there was really no solution and was resigned to accept that. Dr. Samra to begin with, asked me what I wanted. He discussed all possible outcomes and also his plan. I was so relieved to have complete confidence in him going forward. My surgery was beyond what I ever imagined. I finally feel myself again because he listened to what I wanted. His work is impeccable. It not only “met the standard” which most of us just “hope” for- it went far over and above.

I recently was referred to The Samra Group because I wanted to get a mole on my arm removed, mostly for cosmetic reasons. I met with Dr. Salem Samra and I was very impressed. After the mole was removed and it was biopsied we found out it was the beginning stage of skin cancer. To be safe, I had to get more tissue removed to ensure the borders were clear. I cannot express enough how pleased I was with Dr. Salem Samra. He was extremely professional and made sure I was comfortable during the procedures and eased my nerves throughout the entire process. Dr. Samra used a skin graft from my neck to fix it and the results are incredible! I researched NJ doctors for 3 years, and finally felt comfortable with Dr. Sal after my consultation – his bedside manner was so comforting, he knew what he was talking about without being pushy, and he was so patient answering all my questions! So I pulled the trigger and had a tummy tuck with a breast lift. I can’t be happier with my results. I healed so quickly and my belly is so smooth and flat, finally!!! So glad I decided to have a breast lift. I went to Dr. Samra not necessarily looking for a breast lift, but a breast reduction. After our initial consultation, Dr. Samra suggested a breast lift rather than reduction. In his opinion, a lift would reduce my breast size a bit & definitely lift/tighten my breasts (which is what I really wanted). All I can say – I’m incredibly happy after 2 mons. Honestly, I’ve been happy since surgery day. My surgery was very easy & I really didn’t experience much discomfort afterward… A bit sore of course, but nothing that a pain pill wouldn’t cure. I was back to work within 48hrs. However, everyone is different. Long/short-I’m so happy with Dr. Samra & his staff.

We were in an emergency situation with our 7 year old daughter who was bit in the face by a relative’s dog and we needed a plastic surgeon to reconstruct her bottom lip. Great surgeon, better person. After I got hit in the face with a baseball last Friday night, Asaad came in to his office at 9 am on Saturday morning to fix my lip. Several years ago I visited Dr. Asaad Samra for a consultation on a tummy tuck. It wasn’t the right time and mentally/physically I wasn’t ready for it. At the beginning of this year, I revisited the idea and went back to discuss the procedure/options, etc. Driving there I remember thinking there is no way I’m gonna follow through with this but let’s take it step by step. From the minute I walked in their office my anxiety about doing it lessened and lessened. From the moment I met with the MA, Jessie, and then ultimately Dr. Asaad Samra, I knew I was in the right place. It felt very relaxed, comfortable and they put all my fears/concerns at ease. When I walked out that day I knew I was pumped and ready to do it. Every step of the way from beginning to end was “enjoyable”. Who says that about surgery? lol! The staff at the office was amazing, professional, and comforting. The day of the surgery each and every person who helped me along the way was 100%. They were all so lovely, friendly and made me feel calm and at ease. Then of course there was Dr. Asaad Samra, he has the best bedside manner I have ever seen. You feel like he is family, he really genuinely cares about you. Always listening to what you have to say, and talking you through any doubt or questions. The part that sticks in my mind is laying on the OR table and feeling that he was holding my hand assuring me it was all going to be ok, right before my anesthesia kicked in. The post-op staff was great and helped me through recovery, etc. As for the actual recovery from the procedure, it was very “pleasant” for what I thought was gonna be horrible. I did not have an ounce of pain, and I did not rely on the pain meds. It was very manageable and easy. It’s important to follow instructions and follow the protocol for recovery. I cannot recommend Dr. Asaad Samra enough. No matter what procedure you may be thinking of doing electively or not, you are in the BEST of hands with him and his staff.
You couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable, kind, and caring plastic surgeon. Dr. A. Samra oversaw the care of my mom’s wound this summer. She was bit by a dog at work and had a large chunk of her forearm removed from the bite. Dr. Samra saw her two days after the initial bite and it was previously cleaned by the emergency room.
He has the BEST bed side manner I’ve ever encountered with a doctor. He is soft spoken, thorough, and listened to every question we had, which were a lot.
He presented us with numerous options and never pressured us into anything or tried to rush her wound care along, despite this being a workman’s comp case. I know those can take a while to get paid out to the doctor but he treated her like any other patient.
After 7 visits over an 8 week timespan, which was over seen by Ashley Delucia the PA, my mom’s wound looks fantastic. Her scar is large but that was to be expected. In fact, we believe had we not come in for treatment from Dr. Samra and Ashley, her wound most likely would have gotten infected, and her scar would be larger and thicker.

There were things I didn’t like about my aging face. When I looked in the mirror, I was seeing jowls, parentheses around my nose and mouth and lots of forehead wrinkles. I’m not ready to take the plunge and get a facelift. My daughter recommended I see Dr. Asaad Samra for Botox and fillers. She said injections would mask my concerns until I could take time off from work for a facelift. I’m glad I listened. I couldn’t be more pleased with my results. Dr. Samra listened to me. He was knowledgable. He told me what he could use to fix everything that made me feel unhappy about my reflection. I’m a senior on a budget. He completely understood. He suggested we break the treatment up over a few months so it would fit within my budget and I would still be able to achieve and maintain my desired outcome over time. I found many surgeons willing to do whatever I wanted. Dr. Samra explained to me why what I wanted was not safe for me, in a language I could understand. He never rushes you and answers all of your questions and is very pleasant to talk to. After meeting with him, I knew he was the one for me. During surgery, he went beyond the call of duty. He didn’t take my belly button but relocated it. His staff is excellent and I never felt uncomfortable by being stared at during my exams. I will be back!

I didn’t want to cause you undue pressure, so I chose not to disclose prior to surgery exactly whose body you were restoring! There are five little children who truly believe I am Wonder Woman and many adults in my aura who aren’t quite sure I am not!
That being said, the real super hero is you! You made a very difficult time in may life so much easier by treating the “whole person” and not just the “body part” as so many physicians do.

I am a thin woman with a skinny face and my biggest complaint is the way my face looks drawn. In addition I have deep smile lines that make me incredibly insecure when I smile. Dr. Salem Samra took excellent care of my four-year-old son, following a dog bite (laceration) on his eye brow. He approached my son, husband and me calm and confident, explaining everything in a thorough, age-appropriate, considerate manner. Breast cancer runs in my family so after having the BRCA test I was discovered to be BRAC 2 postive. So I made the decision to take steps necessary to reduce my chances of breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. Once this was over Dr Samra started his part and has helped me all the way through. He helped and educated both me and my husband through out the whole process to understand what we were going to encounter. Dr. Samra listed to everything I had to say and took this into consideration when chosen each course of action. Dr. Samra performed a double breast implant with a silk shelf, to ensure my new breasts were able to keep up with my active lifestyle. Both my husband and I were amazed that every visit at the office he made use feel like we were the only patients he had the whole day. My biggest advice that I would give anyone is follow what the he has to say. If he tell you to 6 weeks to heel don’t try and be superwoman and go back to normal life in two. Dr. Samra made this whole process as easy as possible both for me and my family. This post is long overdue but the excitement about my results hasn’t faded one bit. After my toddler asked why I have “lines that look like roads” on my forehead, I went to Dr. Sal Samra for Botox and possible fillers. I’m no stranger to Botox but have been on the fence about fillers in my laugh lines and lips for years due to fear of looking like a Real Housewife. I decided to take the plunge and get it all, and I left feeling SO GOOD. The results were exactly what I wanted. For weeks (months!) I got constant compliments from friends, family, co-workers… but no one was able to put their finger on exactly what was different. I’m still surprised by how pleased I am with my own reflection.
Dr. Samra is precise, attentive, and thoughtfully conservative in his approach – everything I was hoping to find in a plastic surgeon. I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.
I recently had Dr. Salem Samra reconstruct my nose due to skin cancer. I have to admit, I was extremely nervous when I heard I was going to need general anesthesia. His entire staff put me quickly at ease. Dr. Samra walked me through the entire process and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. My end result was beyond all of my expectations. I would and have highly recommended his excellent work!
I had breast augmentation with Dr. Samra the results are amazing! The staff is professional both in the office and the surgical center. The environment is super safe and clean, the cost is also reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Samra for any cosmetic surgery I would never go anywhere else!

I was in a car accident in my 20’s and my eyelid was cut open. Dr. Samra was my surgeon at OB Regional and did a beautiful job! I’m in my 50’s now and it still looks great. I’ll be seeing him again soon for something else. Great bedside manner, too!

I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Samra. I have had plastic surgeries before and truly wish that I had found Dr. Samra earlier. Dr. Samra’s bedside manner is excellent. During the initial consultation, Dr. Samra answered all my questions patiently and caringly. I work in the medical field and I am very impressed by the thoroughness and depth of his knowledge, which is updated to the most recent literature. The fact he also works in hospitals performing much more complicated plastic surgeries makes me trust his skills and judgment.
My surgery was done beautifully. It takes both a surgeon and an artist to do a plastic surgery, and for me, Dr. Samra clearly did a wonderful job as both. Prior to the surgery, I communicated with Dr. Samra what kind of results I am hoping for, then I said “You are the expert. I will leave it to you.” Then he impressed me. My requests are fulfilled, and better than expected! Looking into the mirror now I am just, happy.
The beauty part is important, so are some other aspects. As I mentioned I work in the medical field and I have seen a lot of stitches. I also tend to have scars so I was kind of prepared for a lot of scarring. You can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I saw the nice and clean suture, which now is only one line, healing nicely – not much scarring at all!
The whole experience was great and totally worth it. I would also like to add the office staff are very helpful and made a lot of effort to arrange my surgery. The hospital care was also top of the line.
All in all, I highly recommend Dr. Samra, a great surgeon, and artist.

Dr. Asaad Samra is one of the most skillful, humble yet genius of Dr’s I have met to date. He takes care of my many skin issues as well as many of my friends. His father is an incredible Dr as well! The entire family is both charming and come highly recommended!

After having 4 kids and losing some weight recently, I decided to visit Dr. Samra to get his opinion on ways to improve my loose stomach skin and breasts that lost a lot of volume. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by friendly front office staff. Dr. Samra went over all options and gave his recommendations for what would give me optimal results. I am a week and a half post op from a breast lift with augmentation, a mini tummy tuck and liposuction of my stubborn love handles. To say I am thrilled with my results is an understatement!! Dr. Samra is so sweet and kind and puts you at ease and is truly skilled at what he does. His medical assistants Sam T. and Sam G. are very knowledgeable and take amazing care of their patients. Danielle, the surgical coordinator, handled everything for me and is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Dr. Samra.
Dr. Fares Samra is simply the BEST! I can not say enough about how wonderful my experience was working with him and his office staff. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed from the minute I walked into my first appointment. He recently performed my DIEP Flap Surgery and was so patient with me. He took his time and went out of his way to answer ALL of my questions about the entire process. After the surgery, he went above and beyond to check in with me and make me feel relaxed. I am 20 years old and have had huge heavy breasts since I was pretty young. I’ve been contemplating getting a breast reduction for some time and finally did it. I am extremely happy with the results I have (I got the surgery 5 months ago). I was extremely pleased with how Dr. Samra was throughout the whole process. His bed side manner is amazing and he told me everything I need to know. Once the surgery was over and the bandages came off I did not feel blind sided or like I wasn’t told what actually was going to happen. I would recommend Dr. Samra to anyone looking for any type of procedure. He truly takes pride in his work and really cares about your results as much as you do. An incredible doctor all around.
I’ve always had anxiety at doctor visits, but this was a completely different experience. All staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Salem Samra completed my surgery and I’ve never been happier. Dr. Sal was a wonderful doctor. I always go to him for fillers and plan to have all future cosmetic surgeries with him. He’s warm, very skilled, calm and caring. He was very careful with my injections. I’ve been to several plastic surgeons before, but none have been so meticulous and careful in the entire process. I was really shocked at how little pain I felt, with no swelling! He’s got gentle and skilled hands. So happy with my experience each time. The office staff is great too! And the spa has a relaxing atmosphere.

Great surgeon, better person. After I got hit in the face with a baseball last Friday night, Asaad came in to his office at 9 am on Saturday morning to fix my lip. Not only did he do a great job, but he did not even charge me for an office visit today when he took my stitches out. He genuinely cares about people and I can’t thank him enough. If I ever need anything like this done again, he is absolutely the first person I’m going to call. Thanks again Dr. Samra.
Have taken my mother to Dr. Patel for removal of basal cell skin cancer. Dr. Patel is very thorough. He explained every bit of the procedure and follow up. Great bedside manner. He is just a very nice man.
I rarely take the time to write reviews (except when it warrants a really bad one!) but Dr. Samra deserves a BIG shout out because I am over the moon about the results! History: I had a pretty bad experience ending in a poor result (delayed wound healing, lopsidedness and one under the muscle and one over the muscle) from a surgeon in 1999 which was slightly corrected by a different doctor in 2005. It was a very bad experience so I lived with the consequences for many years. I met Dr. Samra for the first time when I had filler and really liked his bedside manner. After finding out he was a plastic surgeon I later scheduled a consultation. Dr. Samra made major corrections to my surgical mess in 2014. He drastically reduced the scar tissue and the unevenness and we ‘upgraded’ from 350cc’s to 600cc’s. I say ‘we’ because Dr. Samra totally understood why I was unhappy and had solutions….we worked as a team considering his knowledge and concerns along with my wishes. I have been very happy since but spent the last year thinking about one final surgery to achieve a bigger size. I had no sagging whatsoever – so please understand there was no real need to do the surgery…. I just wanted it.
Dr. Salem Samra is a top notch plastic surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering ps or in need of same. He literally built a new nose for my patient and friend Mae. You would NEVER know she had skin cancer or plastic surgery. He’s not only a very competent physician, he is kind, soft-spoken and his bedside manner is second to none.
Dr. Asaad Samra is an extremely caring and compassionate doctor who helped me feel better about myself! He listened to me and took as much time as I needed answering all my concerns. I was fortunate to have chosen Dr. Samra and knew from my first meeting with him that I had the right doctor. There are no words that would do justice to the type of treatment I received from Dr. Sal Samra. It was pure luck that he was the specialist on call when I rushed into the hospital emergency room after an accident that lacerated 9 tendons on my left arm/hand. Even though our paths crossed by luck, now that I know him, I would not have selected any other doctor to treat me if I had the choice. His calmness, professionalism, bedside manners, and clear communication throughout the entire process, from pre-surgery to full recovery, was something I never experience before with any other doctor of any kind. His recommendation for specialized hand therapy at Able Hands was also crucial to my post-surgery treatment – Minette, the OC and owner of Able Hands, was another miracle worker much like Dr. Samra. Due to the nature of my injury, I never imagined that would achieve full rehabilitation, but thanks to Dr. Samra and Able Hands, I’m well on track to do just that. I’m not big on writing reviews, but the quality of service I received was such that I felt compelled to open an exception this time. If you need a reconstructive and cosmetic, plastic and hand surgeon or hand therapy/rehabilitation, Dr. Samra & Able Hands should be at the top of your list.
