Cassandra “Cassie” Ahto is a skilled Physician Assistant known for her professionalism, empathy, and an ability to connect with patients on a personal level.

A native of Northern Virginia, Cassie attended Virginia Tech where she earned a degree in Biological Sciences. It was during her time at Tech that she discovered the Physician Assistant profession, which allowed her to merge her scientific background with her desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. After completing her undergraduate studies, she went on to earn a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from South University in Richmond, Virginia.

Cassie specializes in plastic surgery where she is able to combine her technical skill and eye for detail. Her medical career began in the challenging but rewarding field of burn and reconstructive surgery, where she quickly gained hands-on experience in high-acuity patient care. Her interest in the artistic aspects of surgery led her to shift her focus toward plastic surgery. Eager to pursue this passion, Cassandra moved to New Jersey for a role in plastics specializing in body contouring after weight loss. After a few years, Cassandra sought to broaden her knowledge of the field and joined Samra Plastic Surgery.

When she is not in the operating room or the clinic, Cassie enjoys spending time outdoors, especially by the beach. Her commitment to lifelong learning and making a difference in the lives of her patients defines her approach to both her career and in her personal life.
